Styling a senior session is fun and rewarding….Shannon’s favorite season is winter, so we shot on a lovely Marin County California day! Prior to our shoot we met for a consultation and Shannon had lots of amazing ideas and I had a few up my sleeve as well. Shannon wanted to have the different aspects of who she is reflected in her images. Everything from skater girl to girlie girl in a tutu, which by the way Shannon and her Mom Kelly made themselves! It sounds so easy & fun, I think I’ll make one in every color! Haha… Seriously though, for you DIYers… an elastic waistband with panels of tulle tied to the waistband. That’s it!!!
Shannon was so fun to work with! Kelly told her to POP her eyes and WOW, the shoot was on! In my styling props I have the perfect shade of red lipstick, Laura Mercier creme smooth lipstick in Deco Rouge. Which added a great pop of color to her lips in the red and gold outfit. They also brought the beautiful blue velvet antique chair and the fabulous vintage fox coat to make our shoot more fun and fabulous.
Thank you Shannon & Kelly for sharing this special moment in your life with me, I had a blast!
