January is time for renewal…. to try new things , like those hairstyles on pinterest I’ve been drooling over. Or maybe one of those cool “crafty” ideas that I have a million pins of. And of course, creating captivating images! Lately, Ive had a fascination with all things gypsy. The gypsy style to me is eclectic at it’s very root. Mixing vivid colors and ornately embellished fabrics and accessories that include fringe, gems , headbands, chunky bold jewelry, sandals or boots, long skirts, I could go on. “FREE PEOPLE” really embody the modern version of this look. Today’s “gypsy style” could also be described as bohemian or boho. For this shoot, I was inspired by a “Juicy Couture” perfume add ( shown at the bottom of post). Lovely Liza posed for this series. Some of the fabrics used I bought on the Island of Kauai at a very cool little shop. That whole Island is bohemian style. I think that’s why it’s my favorite!
Here are some modern GYPSY/BOHEMIAN looks……. images courtesy of pinterest!
My inspiration for this” Gypsy Dreams” Boudoir shoot!
This series isn’t “Gypsy style” but are LOVELY BOUDOIR photos….
